Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional June 9th – Live Spiritually

(Follow God’s Kingdom-Principles)

TO THE BIBLE: Romans 8:6
“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

LET’S TALK
God’s Word shows us a clear pattern of what our lives should be like, but sadly some Christians make their lives difficult by living according to their natural, fleshly instincts.

That means they respond to situations and circumstances instinctively, according to their natural senses.

For example, someone says something nasty or abusive to them and their immediate reaction is to respond in kind and possibly even worse. Such fleshly instincts can’t get you far with God.

You need to recognise that we’re in a spiritual kingdom that operates by definite principles. Ignorance of these principles will only lead to frustration and despondency. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6).

Understand that when you were born again, you were translated from the domain of darkness—the kingdom of this world—into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. You live in that supernatural kingdom, and you’ve got to operate from there. Though you’re in the world, you’re not of this world.

Philippians 3:20 (MSG) tells us that “…there’s far more to life for us. We’re citizens of high heaven…,” therefore be conscious of your origin and identity, and operate by supernatural principles.

The principles by which we operate aren’t available to this world. We see and think differently. We don’t talk according to our experiences, what we see or feel. We pray, talk and act according to what the Word says. Glory to God!
