Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional January 4th – You’re Completely God-Like!

(Get Conditioned To Your New Divine Nature)

TO THE BIBLE: 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 NIV
“…From now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

LET’S TALK
The day you were born again, you may have looked exactly the same way you did some moments before; you may have had the same looks, same head, same arms, etc.

However, in reality, a real transformation took place in your spirit. You were actually, literally, totally reborn with God’s life and nature.

Now, not only are you godly but you’re God-like, and because those around you don’t know this, they’ll say to you, “Come on, you know you’re just human.” No, you’re not; not after you’ve been born again!

The human “you” died, and a new, divine you came from God. That’s why Apostle John said, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4); it means you hail from God; your life is divine.

What God expects is that you become conditioned to your divine nature. It’s the purpose for the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).

You might say, “But in the Book of Acts, Peter told Cornelius that he himself was a man” (Acts 10:24-26 CEV), and you may also want to call to mind where the people of Lystra almost worshipped Paul and Barnabas because of the signs and wonders Paul performed, and he told them, “Why are you doing this? We are humans just like you…” (Acts 14:15 CEV).

Here’s what you must understand: the apostles, at this time, hadn’t fully understood the mystery of the Gospel. Otherwise, they would have communicated differently.

Jesus never talked that way; He said one time, “…I am from above… I am not of this world” (John 8:23 AMPC).

Apostle Paul called the Christian “a new creature”—a new type of man (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Peter, after he had graduated to a higher level of understanding of the Gospel, in His latter letter called the Christian “partaker of the divine nature;” that means “an associate of the God-kind.”

In Psalm 82:6, God declares, “…You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.” If you talk and live as a human being, you’ll suffer the things human beings suffer. Become conscious of and conditioned to your divine nature; practise the divine life today!

Speak:
Through meditation on the Word, I’ve become conditioned to my divine nature. I have “Kingdom sight,” and Kingdom perception. I think, talk, and live as an associate of the God-kind. Glory to God!
