Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo Devotional 15th July – It’ll Be Loud!

(The Master Will Rapture Us With A Loud Shout)

TO THE BIBLE: 1 Thessalonians 4:16
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.”

LET’S TALK
Our opening verse says the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout and with the voice of the Archangel. This reminds of the shout the Master gave at the tomb of Lazarus; the Bible says He yelled with a loud voice, “…Lazarus, come out” (John 11:43 TLB).

Lazarus, having been dead and buried for four days, came out of the grave alive. If Jesus hadn’t called Lazarus by name, everybody that ever died in this world would have come out of the grave at that shout from the Master. His voice resonated through Hades, and all of Hades trembled, and Lazarus came forth because the Master called him by name with a loud shout.

Now, the Bible says that this same Jesus would descend from heaven with a shout, and when He does, the dead in Christ shall rise first! Every Christian that ever died would come out of their grave. If they were buried in the sea, it would give them up.

Even if their bodies were burnt to ashes, they’d come back to life! Wherever they are, they’d come out of death, and we that are alive would be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Glory to God!

This is what we’re preparing for; it’s the reason we’re sparing nothing in making ourselves ready and getting others ready, for the end of all things is near!
