He Can’t Do It Without You – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional May 17th

(We’re Workers Together With Him)

TO THE BIBLE: John 15:5 NIV
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

LET’S TALK
Do you know that you’re part of God’s team in winning the whole world to Christ? Yes, we’re workers together with the Lord (2 Corinthians 6:1). You’re dependent on Him, and He’s dependent on you to achieve this feat.

Without Him, you can do nothing, and without you, He can’t reach the world because you’re His mouthpiece and vessel; you’re the one He trusts to take His message of salvation to the ends of the earth (1 Timothy 1:11).

Notice that I didn’t say, “Without you, God will not do anything”; I said, “He cannot.” It’s that strong! When He said, “Apart from me, you can do nothing,” He meant that, cut off from vital union with Him, “apart” or “severed” from Him, you can’t do anything.

The reverse is just as true. Without you, He can’t do anything that concerns you. He can’t do anything in your life or in the world without you because it would be a violation of His word, will, and purpose.

In Mark 16:15, Jesus said, “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” You’re to go out with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction, knowing that the Lord has already done His part.

Remember, Jesus gave His life to save the whole world. John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

Your purpose on earth is to fulfil His dream. It’s to live for Him. Be compelled by the love of the One who gave His life so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Put your faith, your energies, and your whole life into preaching the Gospel. Nothing should be as important to you as your love for Jesus Christ, which you demonstrate by leading others to salvation.
