You’re A New Species – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional July 27th

(Be Conscious Of Your Newness Of Life)

TO THE BIBLE: Romans 6:4
“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

LET’S TALK
“I didn’t feel anything,” Bob said, right after he was led to Christ in the prayer of salvation. Judging by his countenance, you could tell he was rather disappointed, as he had fully expected a transcendent sensation to run through his entire body the moment he received Christ. But that didn’t happen, so he wondered: Did I actually receive salvation?

There are many people who feel this way after they accept Jesus as Lord of their lives. They’re concerned that they may not really be saved because they didn’t immediately feel any change through their senses. What such folks need is accurate knowledge of their new life in Christ—what it means to be born again.

According to the Scriptures, when Jesus died, we died with Him; when He was buried, we were buried with Him; and when He resurrected, we also arose with Him into a newness of life.

That’s why 2 Corinthians 5:17 talks about the fact that anyone who has received Christ is a new species of being that never existed before.

The old man has been crucified with Christ, but there’s a new man with a new life in his place now. No wonder the Bible says in Colossians 3:10, “…put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.”

Now, your life transcends this earthly realm; it’s the life of Christ, the Anointed One. You’ve been called into a new life of success, glory, and excellence. You do not have a past, for your old nature was crucified with Christ. Live in the consciousness of your new life today.

I thank you, Father, for bringing me into the newness of life—the glorious life in Christ that transcends this earthly realm! I declare that the failures, defeats, and misfortunes associated with the old nature have passed away, and I’ve put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Almighty God.
