(You Make So Much Impact By Speaking In Tongues)
TO THE BIBLE: 1 Corinthians 2:7 KJV
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.”
LET’S TALK
Life can be full of mysteries and unanswered questions that are beyond human understanding. As Christians, we have a unique way to handle these challenges: by speaking spiritual mysteries.
Instead of dwelling on negative situations, we can overcome them by speaking in tongues.
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”
When we pray in tongues, we’re communicating divine mysteries inspired by the Holy Spirit.
These divine mysteries, which are beyond human understanding, are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit: “What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 2:12–13 NIV).
The key point here is that we speak these things not through human wisdom but through the Holy Spirit.
Make it a habit to pray in tongues regularly. Doing so helps you shape your future and resolve issues in the spiritual realm, so when challenges arise, you can face them with confidence.
This is why God encourages us to pray continually in the Spirit: “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people” (Ephesians 6:18 NIV).

Pray:
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege and blessing of speaking in other tongues and speaking forth mysteries about my life and the work you’ve committed to me. Thank you also for the gift of interpretation of tongues. As I interpret those mysteries, answers flood my mind, and I walk in your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
