Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional September 30th – Fight And Win!

(The Fight Of Faith Is For Every Christian)

TO THE BIBLE: Romans 4:19-21
“And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”

LET’S TALK
The Bible says Abraham staggered not at the promises of God through unbelief but was strong in faith. He believed he was the father of many nations according to the promise of God (Romans 4:18).

This is what is called the fight of faith. It is the only fight God has called us to fight (1 Timothy 6:12), and it’s a good fight because you were declared the winner before the fight began. When you discover what God’s Word says concerning you, you’d lay hold of it against all odds.

For instance, having discovered from the Word that divine health belongs to you, you begin to declare, “I’ve got the life of God in me, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, and in every fibre of my being.”

Suddenly, the devil tricks you with some symptoms of sickness but instead of becoming forlorn and depressed, you maintain your declaration, “The Lord is the strength of my life (Psalm 27:1), therefore I’m full of strength and health! My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and no sickness can dwell in it.” That’s the fight of faith!

The fight of faith is refusing to go down under the pressure of sickness when it tries to fasten itself to your body. It’s refusing to go down at every display of symptoms, even though it looks like the pain is getting worse.

The fight of faith is when you refuse to submit yourself to sickness, disease, sin, death and everything else that’s caused by the devil.

The fight of faith is when all hell has broken loose at home, yet you’re still shouting “Greater is He that is in me than he that is into the world; I am more than a conqueror!” That’s the fight of faith and it’s a good fight because your victory is assured.
