(Go Out And Win Souls)

TO THE BIBLE: Proverbs 11:30
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”

LET’S TALK
Soul winning is God’s number one job. It’s so important to Him that He sent Jesus, His only Son into the world, not to be the President of a nation, or a Senator or an engineer, but a soul winner.

No wonder the Lord Jesus Himself also took soul winning very seriously during His earthly ministry.

Even when He was physically tired and needed rest, the opportunity to share the gospel with the Samaritan woman was enough to make Him forget His hunger and tiredness. He said to His disciples, “The food that keeps me going is that I do the will of the One who sent me, finishing the work he started” (John 4:34 MSG).

We need to realise as God’s people that we may not always have the opportunity to win souls, and that’s why Jesus said, “We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over” (John 9:4 MSG).

He maximised His time on earth by being an effective soul winner and expects the same from us; the gospel of Christ’s salvation has been entrusted to us (2 Corinthians 5:18), and we must do the work of Him that sent us while it is day.

The time is short; we have only a limited time in which to evangelise the whole world before the Master’s return. That’s why you have to win souls now.

Don’t wait till tomorrow to do something about getting the gospel out; live as though each day were the last day before Jesus returns. That’s the kind of urgency with which we must preach the gospel.

Pray:
Dear Lord, I have identified myself as a soul winner and a vital labourer in the end-time harvest. I can see that the fields are ripe for the picking, therefore I commit myself to pulling every boy, girl, man and woman out of darkness into the kingdom of light. I pray that you guide me to seize today’s opportunity to win souls to you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
