Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional March 2nd – Attend To The Word

(The Benefits of Listening Attentively To God’s Word)

TO THE BIBLE: Proverbs 4:20-22 MSG
“Dear friend, listen well to my words; tune your ears to my voice. Keep my message in plain view at all times. Concentrate! Learn it by heart! Those who discover these words live, really live; body and soul, they’re bursting with health.”

LET’S TALK
“I don’t know what it is about God’s Word,” Nicholas pondered, “but every time I study and meditate on it, seemingly insurmountable challenges become so small and insignificant than they looked before. Wow, I love this feeling!”

Like Nicholas, not many people realise what’s really going on when the Word is ministered to them. They come to church and hear God’s Word being taught with inspiring words of blessing being said, but it’s much more than that!

At such times, your spirit is built, strengthened, and energised as you listen! You’re stirred in your spirit to see and apprehend your next level of glory. Suddenly, you realise that your potentials are limitless, and your possibilities infinite, hallelujah!

That’s why you must always be eager and passionate for God’s Word; have a rich appetite for the Word, and go for it voraciously.

Study and meditate on it daily. The more of the Word you have in you, the more glorious your life is. The Word gives you wisdom that’s consistent with God’s salvation, making you sagacious, astute, and exceptional (2 Timothy 3:15).

You’ll never be confused or perturbed when the Word resides in you! Those around you will notice your extraordinary amplitude of comprehension and revelation that makes you know what to do, and how to deal excellently always.

Therefore, listen up when it comes to the Word; give it your full attention. Don’t discard or skip any part of the Word simply because it doesn’t interest or excite you.

Every part of God’s Word is good for you, so chew and digest it all; take in all of its “nutrients.” As you do, you’ll become several times wiser than before, and your abilities will increase to do more for the Lord!
