Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional June 24th – What Are Your Credentials?

(God Always Endorses His Messengers)

TO THE BIBLE: Hebrews 2:4
“God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”

LET’S TALK
When God wanted to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt, He sent Moses and gave him the necessary credentials for the task. To take them into the Promised Land, He sent Joshua with ample proof.

To save the world, He sent His Son Jesus in the form of a man. God always sends men to men. You might ask, “Can a person know that God has sent him or her?” The answer is an emphatic “Yes!”

When John the Baptist wanted to know if Jesus was the Christ, he sent two of his disciples to go find out about Jesus.

The Master’s response was simply remarkable; He outlined His credentials: “…Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: “The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them”” (Matthew 11:4-5).

Whenever God wants to do something for a nation or a people, He sends someone to them, and He gives that one the necessary credentials for ministry.

He’s sent you to your “world”—your sphere of contact—as His representative. And He’s made His limitless power available to you through the Holy Spirit and the Word!

So, you can function in the same grace and power as Jesus and the apostles did, and you can have the same kind of results.
