Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional July 18th – Can You Trust The Lord?

(God Is Dependable And Trustworthy)

TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 125:1-2
“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.”

LET’S TALK
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; that’s what the Bible says, and the way to trust in Him is to follow His Word. When you demonstrate faith in God’s Word, you profess your trust in Him.

To trust Him is to do what He says. God is worthy of your trust. In His Word you can see that He never exaggerates, neither does He lie. Whatever He says is absolute reality, and He never takes credit for what He didn’t do.

Some people take glory for what they didn’t do, but that’s not God. That’s not the nature of our heavenly Father. He tells you things the way they are; no “ands,” “ifs,” or “buts!” If He says you have something, then you have it.

If He says go, it means you have the ability to go! In the instruction, He gives you lies the ability to carry it out. You must trust His Word at all times.

God’s Word is dependable. It’s guaranteed to produce results. It will deliver your inheritance into your hands. When you trust in the Lord and His eternal Word, nothing shakes you.

It doesn’t matter the news that comes to you from afar, you’ll be unperturbed. It doesn’t matter the heat or hardship others may experience, like Isaac, you’ll reap a multiplied harvest, flourish, make progress and prosper during famine and austere times (Genesis 26:13).

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” This is what you need to walk in the path of progress, peace, prosperity, health and glory.
