Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional August 4th – Call It Forth!

(The God-Kind Of Faith)

TO THE BIBLE: Mark 11:22
“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.””

LET’S TALK
Jesus and His disciples were returning to Jerusalem from Bethany one day, and He became hungry. Seeing a fig tree with luxuriant leaves in the distance, He began to walk towards it, thinking, “I’ll get some fruits there to quell this hunger.”

But on getting there, He found no fruits on the tree, as it wasn’t the season for figs. But Jesus responded to the tree: “No one will ever eat fruits from you henceforth.” He spoke to the tree, and His disciples heard Him!

The next morning, as they walked along that path again, Peter stopped suddenly, his mouth opened in amazement.

“Look, Master!” he called, “The tree you cursed yesterday is all dried up, just as you said!”
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered (Mark 11:12-22).

The actual connotation of Jesus’ expression here is: “Have the faith of God,” or “Have the God-kind of faith,” that is, the supernatural faith that God applies.

Romans 4:17 says that God “…gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” This is a description of how the God-kind of faith operates. It calls things that don’t exist as though they did exist.

Now, 1 John 4:17 says, “…as He is, so are we in this world.” That means you too can apply the same principles as God did throughout the scriptures and be guaranteed the same results. You can call forth your desires and change any situation to your advantage and for your good.

Speak:
As Jesus is, so am I in this world. I function by the same principles of faith by which my heavenly Father made the heavens and the earth! Through my faith confessions, I frame my world and cause the circumstances of my life to sync with God’s perfect will for my life. Glory to God!
