Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional August 20th – Walk In The Light

(Illumination By The Word!)

TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 119:127-130 AMPC
“…I love Your commandments more than [resplendent] gold, yes, more than [perfectly] refined gold. Therefore I esteem as right all, yes, all Your precepts; I hate every false way. Your testimonies are wonderful [far exceeding anything conceived by man]; therefore my [penitent] self keeps them [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple.”

LET’S TALK
The scripture doesn’t say God’s Word gives light; rather, it says, “the entrance” of God’s Word gives light.

So it’s not enough to have the Word in the pages of the Bible; it has to gain entrance into your spirit. When it enters your spirit, you receive light and understanding!

Suddenly, you begin to see things the way God sees them. God’s Word is the true light (John 1:9) that reveals the truth regarding all things. It reveals who you really are, what you can do, and your inheritance in Christ.

When you allow the Word illuminate your spirit, negative circumstances around you are dispelled, as God’s glory and abundant provisions become real to you.

Let God’s Word be the light by which you see all things. Let it guide you in all your affairs—in your academics, finances, relationships, and every other area of your life.

Refuse to walk in the dark, or live by the lesser light; rather, receive illumination by the Word!

Speak:
I walk daily in the light of God’s Word. I’m not moved by the natural circumstances that exist in the world. God’s Word is the light by which I operate in everything that concerns me. I’m aware of God’s great provisions for me, and I’m enjoying them, because I see by the greater light of His Word. Hallelujah!
