Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo Devotional 22nd July – Go For More

(Grow And Advance Spiritually)

TO THE BIBLE: Ephesians 4:14-15 CEV
“We must stop acting like children. We must not let deceitful people trick us by their false teachings, which are like winds that toss us around from place to place. Love should always make us tell the truth. Then we will grow in every way and be more like Christ, the head ”

LET’S TALK
As a child of God, it’s crucial you realise that Jesus Christ is alive today, and He lives in us through the Holy Spirit, and He cares affectionately for you. More so, He wants you to carry His message to your world so they can know Him and His love too.

However, as you go about preaching the Gospel, it’s also very expedient that you consciously grow and advance your life spiritually.

You must keep growing in the Word and consciously enhance your fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It’s not enough to be born again; there’s so much more in God to enjoy. How much liberty of the Spirit that you’ll enjoy will depend on the spiritual knowledge of God’s Word that you have.

His blessings that you’ll enjoy in your life depend on the knowledge of Him that you have in your spirit. The less knowledge you have, the fewer blessings and joy of the Spirit that’ll flow through you.

Your knowledge of God’s Word is what puts you over in life; the Bible says through knowledge shall the Just be delivered, not just from trouble, but also into their inheritance (Proverbs 11:9).

Through the knowledge of God’s Word, you’re able to exercise dominion and control over all circumstances. As you grow through constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you’d constantly live above the corrupting influences in this world, so much so that when men are crying, “There’s a casting down,” there’d be lifting for you. Never allow the challenges you face to overwhelm you.

Whatever challenges you might be facing today are what you’ve been built, prepared and fashioned for. None of us is given more than we can handle: “…God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able…” (1 Corinthians 10:13). So rather than focus on the trouble, act on the Word, and you’ll indeed have a testimony.
