Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo Devotional 13th August – Speak Wisdom!

(God’s Word Is God’s Wisdom)

TO THE BIBLE: 1 Corinthians 2:12-13
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

LET’S TALK
Some people are great talkers; they’re so good at talking that they could talk about just anything. For instance, someone could talk about a language and all its benefits without speaking that language.

In the same way, there’re those who speak “about” wisdom but sadly do not “speak” wisdom. Speaking wisdom is speaking the Word.

Part of the Holy Spirit’s ministry in your life is to help you discover your inheritance in Christ Jesus. Then, as He unveils them to you, He expects you to speak them: “…these things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches.”

Notice it doesn’t say, “these things we also speak of;” rather, it says “these things we also speak.” Just like it says in 1 Corinthians 2:6, “However, we speak wisdom…” we don’t talk about wisdom; we speak wisdom, that is, the Word of God.

For instance, the Word says you’re a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4); that’s the wisdom of God. When you, based on that scripture, affirm, “I’m an associate of the God-kind; a partaker of His grace and glory, and the expression of His righteousness,” you’re speaking wisdom.

When you say, “I have the life of God in me; I live in divine health twenty-four hours a day,” in spite of the pain you may be feeling, you’re speaking wisdom.

People may mock you for speaking the wisdom of God, but always remember that the wisdom of God is incongruous with the world’s system. When you make it a practice to always speak the wisdom of God, you’ll be misunderstood by many, especially those who are ruled by the senses.

But don’t let that deter you. Declare what the Word says concerning you, irrespective of the situation. Speak God’s wisdom over your life always!

Speak:
The wisdom of God is in my heart and in my mouth today! God’s Word is as fire shut up in my bones; and as I speak, I dissolve doubts; I’m prevailing and reigning in life by grace through righteousness, and the glory of God is seen and expressed through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
