TO THE BIBLE: EPHESISANS 1:19-22 NLT
“I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come. And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the benefit of the church”

LET’S TALK
What we just read is absolutely extraordinary: the Lord Jesus is set far above “all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

The Message translation says He’s “…in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything” (Ephesians 1:21).

There’s nothing God didn’t put under the feet of Jesus. No wonder the Bible says nothing is exempt from His rule.

When it says “nothing is exempt from His rule,” that includes all nations, all sicknesses, all demons, and every name that can be named—not only in this world but also in that which is to come.

Now, as extraordinary as this is, our theme scripture concludes by saying “and he gave him this authority for the benefit of the church.” That means all things are therefore under the feet of the Church.

Can you see why you must live as a victor every day of your life? All things are under your feet, including Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Death, hell, the world, circumstances, living and non-living things are under your dominion.

Christ’s authority, reign and dominion are for your benefit. You reign through Him and an do all things in His Name.
