(Have Faith In The Word Of God)

TO THE BIBLE: Matthew 17:20 NIV
“…Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

LET’S TALK
“I’ve prayed; I’ve confessed the Word; I’ve even fasted! Yet, my condition hasn’t improved,” Monica complained to Jane, her youth group leader.
“Quit complaining, Monica,” Jane gently admonished her new convert. “What you need is to learn how to use your faith.”
“How do I do that?” Monica asked curiously.
“I recommend you study this book “How To Make Your Faith Work,” Jane said, gifting her a copy of the book.

Oftentimes, people agonise like this as they struggle with their faith. This is because, for the most part, they haven’t learnt how to use their faith. Until you discover how to make your faith work, you’ll keep struggling.

There may be a time of struggling in any area of your life, where you find a difference between what the Word says and your personal experience. At such times, look beyond the disparity and meditate more on the Word.

Don’t focus your mind on what’s happening, but on the Word, on what you believe. Soon enough, the Word will grow mightily in you, and over that situation, and prevail. That’s the guaranteed outcome!

Faith always works. If it didn’t work, then it was never faith. Jesus said, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can achieve anything; nothing shall be impossible to you (Matthew 17:20).

There’s a guarantee that your faith will work if you’d act on the Word. So, cheer up; the victory is yours already. Hallelujah!
