Everyone Is Important – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional May 24th

(The Gospel Is For All People)

TO THE BIBLE: 1 Corinthians 9:16
“For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!”

LET’S TALK
“Why are you ignoring the security personnel at your gate? I died for everyone, including him; please talk to him for me” were the gentle yet instructive words from the Lord that came to Michael’s heart, which he heard and acted upon.

Once he did, the security guard received Christ, and his spirit was recreated all at once.

Truly, the Gospel is for everybody. When it comes to our kingdom work, every individual is important to God. He’s not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is potent; His grace, love, and mercy have been poured out on all people for their salvation, regardless of their status, background, or ethnicity.

God has purposed to save and use anybody—any one of us—for His glory. None of us is too small or too lowly.

In 2 Kings 5, for example, we read about Naaman, a commander of the King of Syria’s army, a great man held in the highest regard, a mighty man of valour, but he was a leper.

While the Syrian troops were raiding Israel one day, they captured a girl and made her a servant to Naaman’s wife.

Sometime later, this little Israelite maid witnessed to Naaman (2 Kings 5:3), and not only did Naaman get healed of his leprosy through the Prophet Elisha, but this army general got converted and became a worshipper of the Lord God of Israel.

I’ve heard similar stories about army generals being led to Christ by their drivers or domestic staff. Nobody is too great to be led to salvation.

You may be a student or a member of a learning institution, but you must recognise that your education is your opportunity and vehicle for spreading the Gospel.

If you get on a bus, a train, or a plane, talk about the Lord to your co-passengers; tell them all about what Jesus did for them.

Never let an opportunity pass that you have not utilised for the Gospel. This is what the Lord has set us on course for, so be bold and fearless. Preach the Gospel to anybody and everybody.

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for counting me faithful to commit the ministry of reconciliation to my hands. My passion is to do your will by ministering the Gospel to everyone in my world and those in the regions beyond, working together with you to establish your Kingdom on earth and in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
