Equal Rights In Christ – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional September 6th

(There Is Neither Male Nor Female In Christ)

TO THE BIBLE: Galatians 3:28 NIV
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

LET’S TALK
In certain places around the world, some people say that ladies shouldn’t preach. But that’s not what the Bible says. The Bible teaches us that in Christ Jesus, we are all equal (Galatians 3:28).

Reading the Law of Moses, there were certain rights that men had that women didn’t have. But now, in Christ Jesus, we’re all one. Hallelujah! That’s something to celebrate!

This means there are no limits for ladies, as there were in the days of the Law. The only time you’ll have a difference between a man and a woman in Christ is if they’re married, because the Bible addresses the wife separately from her husband. But as long as a man and a woman are unmarried, they’re entitled to the same rights in Christ.

Someone might say, in the New Testament, the Bible says, “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence” (1 Timothy 2:12 KJV).

Isn’t this referring to Christian ladies?” If you read the verse in context, you’ll discover that it’s referring only to married people.

The next verse says, “For Adam was first formed, then Eve” (1 Timothy 2:13 KJV), meaning that it was looking at the context of marriage.

Now, when it says a wife shouldn’t teach her husband, the actual rendering means “to instruct” or “to dictate to” her husband. He didn’t mean she couldn’t explain or guide the other into knowledge.

Also remember that these are the last days the Prophet Joel wrote about: “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy…” (Joel 2:28 NIV).

The four daughters of Philip the evangelist prophesied too: “…He had four unmarried daughters, who prophesied” (Acts 21:9 RSV).

To prophesy means to speak words of power, to speak words that come from the Kingdom of God, and these ladies did prophesy.

So, you see, it makes no difference whether you’re a young man or woman; go ahead and preach the Gospel everywhere, and don’t let anyone stop you out of their ignorance.

I know who I am! I’m Abraham’s seed and I reign and rule in this life. I’m unlimited and unstoppable because I’m in Christ, and I walk daily in this consciousness. I’m a joint-heir with Christ; therefore, all things are mine.
