Connected To His Grace! – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional July 22nd

(Our Father Is Gracious And Full Of Mercy)

TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 145:8
“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.”

LET’S TALK
Our God is rich in grace and mercy. He’s a gracious God. There’s no mistake too big for Him to forgive; there’s no sin so great that the blood of Jesus can’t cleanse.

God’s forgiveness has nothing to do with the magnitude or gravity of your offence. Ephesians 1:7 says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

We serve a gracious and merciful heavenly Father, who is slow to wrath and quick to save and forgive.
If you’ve done something wrong, and it has almost dissipated your faith and zeal for spiritual things, the Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy.

He’s ever willing to take you from where you are to your glorious place in Christ. His forgiveness is available to you even now. 1 John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

If, however, you’ve not yet given your heart to Jesus, I urge you to call upon Him right now to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life, and He will hear you and answer you. He’s a gracious and merciful heavenly Father.

Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)” Even when you were deep in sin, God loved you. What a gracious God He is!

Pray:
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for your great love, grace, mercy and compassion towards me. You have delivered me from the power of darkness, and translated me into the Kingdom of your dear Son, in whom I have redemption through His blood, and the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace! Thank you for being to me a gracious and merciful heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
