Be Studious And Prayerful – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional September 20th

(Give Attention To Prayer And The Word)

TO THE BIBLE: Acts 6:4 AMPC
“But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word.”

LET’S TALK
When we talk about being equipped and positioned for a life of consistent victory and dominion, it’s about giving attention to the Word of God and prayer in its various dimensions and applications.

In other words, prayer is of different kinds, and it’s important to know how to pray effectively by applying the different rules for different kinds of prayer.

Apostle Paul said, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” (Ephesians 6:18). So, you learn to pray ALWAYS. The Lord Jesus taught that, “…Men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1).

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” All through the Scriptures, there’s such strong emphasis on prayer because of its profound blessings and benefits.

Also, God’s Word is of utmost importance in our lives; you must study, understand, and live by God’s Word.

Jesus said in John 8:31, “…If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.” In John 8:32, He said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” His Word is truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Joshua 1:8 says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

In Colossians 3:16, the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom….”

Place a premium on the study of the Word of God and prayer. It’s what you need for a balanced spiritual life, where you triumph gloriously every day.
