An Attitude Of Gratitude – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional May 1st

(Rejoice And Be Grateful For All God Has Done For You)

TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 95:1-3 NASB
“Come, let’s sing for joy to the Lord, let’s shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let’s come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving, let’s shout joyfully to Him in songs with instruments. For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods….”

LET’S TALK
On one occasion, while reflecting on the Lord’s awesomeness and thanking Him for everything He’s done, I was drawn to one of David’s psalms, which is recorded in 1 Chronicles 16: “That day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise to the LORD in this manner: Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done” (1 Chronicles 16:7-8). This is so beautiful.

David was never reluctant or ashamed to publicly thank the Lord. He often showed his thanks through psalms and songs. No wonder he lived such a great life.

Living by faith in God’s Word and being eternally grateful to God for His life in you are the hallmarks of true Christianity. Your greatness in life depends on your capacity for gratitude.

When you realise all that the Lord has done for you in this world that’s gone so cruel and dark and how He glorified Jesus in your life in an extraordinary way, you can only be full of gratitude to Him.

Don’t live like those who are blind to all the good things happening in and around them, for which they ought to be grateful.

The New International Version of Revelation 19:7 says, “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory….”
Always, we should praise the Lord, declaring that He’s the One who has given us victory over the world and its systems. He’s exalted the Name of Jesus in our lives, and through us, He spreads salvation to the world. Trust Him with your life, and be full of gratitude to Him every day.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving me victory over the systems of this world and for instilling in my spirit the kind of faith that subdues the whole wide world. You’ve exalted the Name of the Lord Jesus in my life, and through me, you’ve brought salvation to many. I’ll make known your mighty works and the awesomeness of your power in my life.
