“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
LET’S TALK
In our last study, we saw that God has already marked out a predestined path for your life (Romans 8:29, Ephesians 2:10).
The question then is, how do you walk that path with accuracy? The answer is simple: by the Spirit.
Life is filled with choices—some minor, others defining. Opportunities will open before you this year, and you may ask yourself: Should I take this step? Is this the right path?
The good news is that you’re not left to guess. The Holy Spirit knows the details. He sees beyond what you can perceive and knows the path of success and victory.
Romans 8:26 NKJV tells us that “the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
When you pray in the Spirit, the Holy Ghost grants to you God’s counsel and unveils the precise course you must follow.
There’s so much you don’t know about the year ahead—the people you’ll meet, the places you’ll go, the decisions you’ll face.
Yet, the Holy Spirit knows them all. He knows and understands the fine details – things about your life and the things beyond human perception – and He intercedes for you accordingly.
This is why prayer in the Spirit is indispensable. When you pray in the Spirit, you align yourself with God’s perfect plan.
Instead of confusion, you receive clarity. Instead of struggling in uncertainty, you walk in divine precision.
As you set your vision for the year, refuse to grope in the dark. Engage the Spirit in fellowship; pray much in tongues. Yield to His guidance, and every day of 2026 will unfold with the accuracy of God’s design.
