(Declare What You Want In His Name)
TO THE BIBLE: Mark 16:17 NKJV
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.”
LET’S TALK
There’s a difference between calling on the Name of Jesus and making a demand in His Name—and it’s important that you understand it.
Romans 10:13 NKJV says, “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That’s referring to the sinner, the one who doesn’t yet know God, calling out for salvation.
But once you’re born again, you’re not calling for help from outside—you’re functioning from within. You don’t just call His Name anymore; you use it!
As a child of God, you’ve been given the right to use the Name of Jesus as an instrument of power. That Name carries all authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
You don’t need to call upon Him anymore for anything: rather, you use His Name with authority to create anything or effect the changes you desire.
The Lord Jesus said in John 14:13 NKJV, “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do…” That’s not a suggestion. It’s a divine guarantee!
So when challenges arise—whether it’s fear, sickness, or pressure—you don’t panic and shout “Jesus!” out of desperation. You speak with authority: “In the Name of Jesus, I command this situation to turn around!” That’s how a Christian talks. That’s how you win. You issue commands in His Name.
Always remember that you’re in charge and in control because you function in the Name of Jesus.
Everything in life, physical and spiritual, including governments, thrones, the galaxies, principalities and powers, are all subject to the Name of Jesus.
Declare what you want in His Name with confidence, and you’ll have a testimony. Glory be to God!

Pray:
Dear Father, thank you for the power and authority you’ve granted us to use the Name of Jesus. I walk in this authority and exercise dominion over circumstances and situations. I speak healing, peace and prosperity in His Name, and I thank you for the confidence and assurance that come with using the Name of Jesus to effect a change and bring your will to pass. Amen.
