(Live With Expectation Of The Lord’s Soon Return)
TO THE BIBLE: 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
LET’S TALK
One day soon, maybe even today, something big is going to happen. The Rapture of the Church. It’s going to be sudden, faster than you can blink.
People will be living life like normal, scrolling through their feeds, hanging out with friends, going to class, working, and in an instant, everyone who’s been born again, everyone who’s chosen to follow Jesus, will check out of this world.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 says, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.”
There will be two trumpet sounds. The first one? Only those who died believing in Jesus will hear it. They’ll rise from the dead.
Then the second trumpet sound will follow—the last one—and that’s when we who are alive and remain shall suddenly be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
The Lord will descend from heaven, but He won’t touch down on the earth. He’ll be waiting for us in the air. And in that split second, we will be transformed from terrestrial to celestial beings. We’ll be out of here.
Imagine the chaos after we’re gone. News reports. Social media is blowing up with questions. “Where did they go?” “What just happened?”
But the truth is already in the Bible. Sadly, a lot of people will realise too late that they should have believed in Jesus.
So, what does this mean for us right now? It’s time to go all in for Jesus. Love Him with your whole heart. Live for Him like never before.
None of the stuff we chase after here—money, fame, cars, clothes, followers—none of it will matter once we’re gone. Only what we did for Jesus will count.
This isn’t some sci-fi story or a wild conspiracy. It’s real, and it’s coming. Could be any moment. So be ready.
Stay focused on what matters. Live your best life for Jesus. Stay consistent. Keep making a difference for God.

My heart is focused on the Lord and His soon return; therefore I live in readiness, doing the work of the Lord with faith, hope and love. I’m empowered by the Spirit to share the Gospel and prepare others for the Rapture. Amen.
