(The Ascension Of Jesus Proves His Supreme Authority)

TO THE BIBLE: Luke 24:51 NKJV
“Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.”

LET’S TALK
The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our salvation. Without it, our faith would be in vain. But the Ascension—oh, the Ascension—reveals something even more glorious.

It is the seal of His supreme authority, dominion, and eternal reign! He didn’t just come back from the dead; He ascended bodily into heaven, proving that He is greater than death, hell, and all creation.

Remember His words in John 6, when many were offended by His teaching. He asked them, “What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?” (John 6:62). And right before their eyes, those words became reality. It was too much for human language to capture!

Sadly, the Church has often overlooked the Ascension. Yet, it is the greatest event to have ever occurred on Earth. Elijah went up in a whirlwind with chariots of fire, but Jesus ascended physically.

This Easter, as we celebrate His resurrection, let us not forget the triumph of His ascension. He is not only risen; He is glorified! He reigns over all powers and principalities, and we’re seated with Him in heavenly places. Blessed be God!

Dear Father, I thank you for the magnificent ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ, which demonstrated His supreme authority, dominion, lordship and eternal reign. I rejoice that I am seated with Him in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers. Thank you for the victory and authority I have in His Name. Amen
