(He Does His Good Pleasure Through You)
TO THE BIBLE: Philippians 1:6 NKJV
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
LET’S TALK
One of the most beautiful realities of the Christian life is the assurance that God is at work in you.
Every day, as you rise and step into your assignments, you must be conscious of this truth: God is at work in me! He isn’t watching from afar; He is actively involved, faithfully perfecting the good work He began in you.
The Bible says in Philippians 2:13 NKJV, “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
This is absolute truth. It’s God Himself working in you, making you willing and giving you the ability to fulfil His divine purpose.
You’re His living tabernacle, His outstretched arm, His operational headquarters on the earth. How could you fail when His power and wisdom are at work in you?
In Judges 6:14 NKJV, the Lord said to Gideon, “…Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” What he had was sufficient because the presence of God was with him. The same is true of you. What you have is more than enough. Christ in you is enough! God at work in you is enough!
You can win souls in multitudes, you can change your world, and you can accomplish the extraordinary.
The Spirit of God is working mightily in you, and His glory is revealed through you. You’re a burning and shining light, drawing men and women into the Kingdom. Glory to God!

Eunice,
Andrew Casher asked this question on the 18th
I have a question about the practical reality of “flourishing”: for someone who feels spiritually dry or stuck in a routine, what would you say is the first, small step to move from just “attending” church to being genuinely “planted” and connected to that life-giving source again?
Please admin reply to me! Please!🥺
Maintaining a Fresh Spirit Daily
The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word ‘fresh’ as ‘not stale, musty, or faded’ or ‘pure, untainted, refreshing.’ This gives an impression of health rather than luxury. Just as we require fresh air and water daily for our physical bodies, your spirit requires a daily “refreshing” to avoid becoming stale or stuck in a routine.
1. The Source of the Refreshing
Acts 3:19 (KJV) says, “…the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” If you feel spiritually dry, it is a sign that you have stepped out of the “stream” of His presence. The first small step to getting “planted” again is to re-establish your daily prayer and worship time.
• The Action: As you pray every day and lift holy hands in worship, you create an atmosphere that is full of the presence of God. Your worship rises as sweet-smelling incense, and in that atmosphere, you remain fresh.
2. Guarding Your Atmosphere
You cannot be “planted” in the house of God if your mind is “planted” in the world. Freshness is lost when the soul is polluted.
• The Warning: Don’t pollute your mind by digesting wrong materials or entertaining worldly friends who offer things that corrupt the human soul.
• The Action: To move from “attending” to “flourishing,” you must intentionally filter what you see and hear. When your spirit is fresh, God’s Word can affect you deeply, and the “routine” of church will transform into a “revelation” of Christ.
3. Becoming the Refreshing
The final step in being truly “planted” is realizing that you aren’t just there to get a refreshing; you are there to be one.
• The Mission: Your presence in church and in the world ought to bring refreshing; it ought to clean up and gladden hearts with the sweetness and grace of God. When you start focusing on how to uplift and strengthen the weak around you, you find that you are no longer just “attending”—you are a life-giving part of the body.
Practical Summary:
Small Daily Action Steps
Step 1: Worship Spend 15 minutes lifting your hands in private worship before you head to church.
Step 2: Sanctify – Delete one app or unfollow one account that makes your spirit feel “musty” or “stale.”
Step 3: Service Look for one person who seems “weak” or “lonely” this Sunday and offer them a word of encouragement.
Glory to God forever. God is work in me.
