(Walk in Oneness with Jesus)
TO THE BIBLE: Philippians 2:9-11
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
LET’S TALK
“Are you serious? You actually prayed before posting that?” Wesley asked, laughing.
“Yeah,” Zara shrugged. “If Jesus is really Lord of my life, He should care about my posts too, right?”
“Even your captions?”
“Especially my captions.”
Zara understood something many people miss. Calling Jesus “Lord” isn’t just something you say during an altar call.
One major thing you need for a successful, vibrant, prosperous, and fulfilling year—even as a student navigating school, friendships, social media, and big dreams—is to be more conscious of the Lordship of Jesus.
When you say “Jesus is Lord of my life,” you need to understand that it’s much more than a religious axiom. You’re not merely talking of someone who saved you from your sins and healed you from sickness.
It means He’s boss over your life; He’s the One with supreme authority; He controls everything that has to do with your life.
Some have only been acquainted with Him as Saviour, but He’s more than a Saviour; He is Lord! That means Ruler and Master, one who has the preeminence, and to whom service and obedience are due.
You must get to know Jesus and walk with Him every day as Lord in your family, academics, friendships, online interactions, future career plans, and everything that has to do with your life. In other words, let Him take preeminence.
Remember, He’s the only wise God, whose bidding you must do and whose leading alone you must follow. Recognise His Lordship today and submit to the supremacy of His will, counsel and wisdom.

Speak:
Lord Jesus, I recognize you as my Lord, Master and Ruler; the One with supreme authority and preeminence, to whom I owe allegiance. I believe with all my heart and declare with my mouth that you’re Lord over every circumstance and everything that has to do with my life. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I walk in the consciousness and revelation of your Lordship over my life every day! Amen.
