(You’re The Expression Of Christ’s Righteousness)
TO THE BIBLE: Romans 6:13 NKJV
“But present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”
LET’S TALK
Romans 6:10–11 (NIV) reveals your present reality in Christ. It says, “The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” This isn’t a promise—it’s a statement of fact! You’re dead to sin and alive to God. That’s your place, your position, and your identity in Christ.
The “old you” that was bound by wrong desires, guilt, and fear no longer exists; he was crucified with Christ. Now, you live in the newness of life—righteous, victorious, and full of glory. You’re not under the control of sin, failure, or fear; you reign in the power of divine life.
The Bible says, “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body” (Romans 6:12). That means you can say “no” to anything that doesn’t reflect who you are in Christ. You have authority over your thoughts, your words, and your actions. You’re not weak or helpless; you’re full of God’s strength and wisdom.
As a child of God, when you walk into a place, things change for the better! Your presence brings peace, joy, and excellence because you carry the life of God. The world is waiting to see that life expressed through you—at school, at home, and among your friends.
So square up! Think like someone who carries Jesus inside. Let this be your consciousness: you’re the manifestation of Christ’s righteousness. You function in His divine order and His divine power, bringing His glory everywhere.

I’m an instrument of righteousness; I carry the life of God. His glory and wisdom are expressed in and through me. Everything associated with me reflects the righteousness of God. I bring deliverance, restoration, and life to creation. I reign in life as a mature son of God, manifesting His glory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
