It’s Your Identity – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional April 9th

(You’re A Walking Garden Of Divine Fruits)

TO THE BIBLE: Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

LET’S TALK
In an art gallery, no painting is ever mistaken for the artist himself. Yet, every masterpiece carries the signature and essence of the one who created it. When people behold the artwork, they immediately recognize its origin. In the same way, God designed you to carry His signature—to be identified by the fruit you bear.

The Lord Jesus declared in Luke 6:44 NKJV, “For every tree is known by its own fruit…” You don’t call a mango tree an apple tree; the tree is identified by the fruit it produces. This is true of your recreated human spirit. The moment you were born again, God filled you with His very essence, enabling you to produce divine fruits.

Let’s take a look at our opening scripture that talks about the fruits of the recreated human spirit. These aren’t just “nice personality traits”; they’re who you really are in Christ.

Think of it like this: if the Spirit lives in you, then you’re a tree, and these are your natural fruits. The first fruit listed is love—that makes you a love-tree. Not the romantic kind of love, but a love that sees people the way God sees them.

Next is joy —so your name is Joy. You’re not waiting for circumstances to make you happy; joy flows out of your spirit like a river. And peace? That’s you too. You’re the calm in the middle of drama, pressure, or anxiety. You’re the one who doesn’t spiral when things go wrong—you radiate peace.

Patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance—all these are not qualities you’re struggling to acquire; they’re fruits you naturally bear. That’s who you are!

So never say, “I’m not a patient person.” No, your spiritual DNA carries patience, because the Spirit of God lives in you. And here’s something even more glorious: Ephesians 1:17 NKJV calls God “the Father of glory.” If He’s the Father of Glory, then what does that make you?

You are Glory! You’re the outshining of God’s beauty, the visible expression of His excellence. When men see you, they see God’s masterpiece at work.
