(We Belong To A Kingdom And A Church That Is Unshakable)

TO THE BIBLE: Matthew 16:18 KJV
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

LET’S TALK
Some years ago, engineers tested a bridge built to withstand earthquakes. They shook it, strained it, and even tried to break it with simulated tremors. Yet, each time, it stood firm because it wasn’t designed to collapse—it was built to endure. That bridge reminds me of the Church of Jesus Christ.

The storms of life may rage, opposition may rise, but the Church cannot be destroyed. Why? Because it is built by the Master Builder Himself—our Lord Jesus Christ.

He boldly declared, “…I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18 KJV). What He builds is eternal, powerful and glorious. And the beautiful thing is this—you’re not a spectator in this divine edifice.

The Bible calls you “a living stone” (1 Peter 2:5), carefully chosen, shaped, and placed by God to reflect His glory. You’re not an accident. You’re part of something that cannot fail.

The Church doesn’t function by worldly systems; we operate by heavenly principles. We’re powered by the Holy Spirit and governed by the Word. That’s why adversity, persecution, or opposition only make us stronger.

James said, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds” (James 1:2 NIV). Paul affirms in Romans 8:37 NKJV, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

There’s no amount of tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, peril or suffering that can prevail against us.

We are the undefeatable Church! Satan is under our feet. We reign in dominion, joint heirs with Christ, associates of the God-kind, and vessels of eternal excellence. The glory of God shines in and through us.

So, rejoice today! You belong to a Kingdom and a Church that is unstoppable, unshakeable, and built to last—forever revealing the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Father, thank you for making me a living stone in the glorious Church of Jesus Christ—built to last and designed for glory. Thank you for the authority you’ve granted us to execute your will and manifest your glory in the earth. Today, your children, all over the world, walk in power, purpose and victory as they proclaim the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
