(Spread The News Of The Kingdom)
TO THE BIBLE: Luke 16:16 NKJV
“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.”
LET’S TALK
The Kingdom of God is real. It’s not a vague idea or a distant hope—it’s a living, active kingdom, spiritual in nature. When you were born again, you were born into it as a child of God.
You became a progeny of the Kingdom—one who originates from and carries the life of the Kingdom.
This Kingdom includes everything under God’s rule, both in heaven and on earth. But there’s also the Kingdom of Heaven—the earthly extension of the Kingdom of God, established by Jesus.
When Jesus said, “…The kingdom of God is at hand…” (Mark 1:15 NKJV), He was referring to the Kingdom of Heaven, which He came to establish on the earth.
Before Jesus, the prophets could only speak of it—they couldn’t enter it. But Jesus didn’t just announce it; He made it possible for us to be part of it. Through the New Birth, we were brought in.
Colossians 1:13 (AMPC) says, “[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son.” Glory to God!
Today, that same Kingdom Jesus preached is what we’ve been sent to proclaim. Luke 9:2 (KJV) says, “And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God…” It’s now our responsibility.
This Kingdom, though spiritual, will soon be visibly established in this world—it will take over. And every soul must be given the opportunity to enter.
That’s why we preach. That’s why we win souls. Jesus said in John 3:5 (KJV), “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” This is the time to intensify your efforts—bring others in.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14 NKJV). Blessed be God!
