Joy Is The Plug – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional September 14th

(Joy Releases Blessings)

TO THE BIBLE: Isaiah 12:3
“Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

LET’S TALK
Years ago, I made a personal decision: I would live each day with gratitude to the Lord and choose joy, no matter the circumstances. As I studied the Word of God, I discovered something profound. No one was assigned to make me happy. That responsibility wasn’t placed on my family, my friends, or even my environment.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 1:8 KJV that we have received “joy unspeakable and full of glory”. That joy is in our spirits. It became resident in your spirit when you received salvation.

Our opening verse tells us, “Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” In other words, joy is what allows you to access the fullness of the life God has given you. When you’re joyful in your spirit, happiness naturally follows.

Joy does more than affect how you feel. It expresses itself through laughter, praise, celebration, and even generosity.

Have you ever noticed that when you’re joyful, it’s easier to be kind and to give? You can hardly hold back because giving flows naturally from joy.

Something beautiful to also know about joy is, when you’re full of joy in the presence of the Lord, He grants the desires of your heart, as the Bible says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4). A joyful spirit creates the perfect atmosphere for miracles and answered prayer.

It’s one of the reasons your personal praise and worship to the Lord is so important. Those are moments of spiritual ecstasy, where your heart is knit with the Spirit in joyful effusions of gratitude, in celebration of His great glory, goodness and awesome majesty.

So, learn to rejoice evermore in the spirit, in the presence of God. When you truly worship and express your joy before Him, it brings unimaginable blessings and unlocks in and around you a divine atmosphere for the miraculous.
