(Excellence Sets You Apart In Life)

TO THE BIBLE: Daniel 6:3
“Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.”

LET’S TALK
Jordan always gave his best, no matter what. He remembered Jesus’ words about being the light of the world, so he made sure his work stood out.

While others did just enough to get by, he went the extra mile. Because he was reliable and disciplined, people trusted him with more responsibilities.

One day, his teacher told him, “We can’t do this without you.” That’s when Jordan realised that excellence makes you shine, and when you shine, you can’t be ignored!

Walking in excellence is for those who make the choice. Therefore, develop your spirit for excellence, to always produce outstanding results.

Remember the words of Jesus: “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14).

Then in the 16th verse, He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Yes, you’re shining, but are you shining enough to give light? It doesn’t matter what anybody thinks, make up your mind to do what you do so well that you’ll be a reference for excellence.

You can make yourself so relevant and indispensable by building stability, discipline, and reliability into your character.

There are people who have so many responsibilities because of their excellent spirit and excellent performance.

They’re so dependable that every time something new is about to be done in their place of work, their names come up. Yes, that’s because excellence can’t be ignored. Make up your mind to be one of such people.

Dear Father, I thank you for the spirit of excellence that’s at work in me. I continually walk in excellence, and as such, my light shines ever so brightly and brings glory to your Name. I function in divine wisdom and diligence to consistently produce outstanding results, and my commitment to excellence is a testimony of your grace and goodness in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
