(The Life In You Is Immune To Any Venom Or Poison)

TO THE BIBLE: Mark 16:17-18
“…these signs will follow those who believe:…if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

LET’S TALK
“Ugh, I think I’m coming down with malaria,” Eva groaned, slumping onto the bench.
“Why do you say that?” Renata asked.
“A mosquito bit me a few nights back, and now I feel weak. Malaria always gets me this time of year.”

Renata raised an eyebrow. “Eva, do you hear yourself? You’re a child of God! The life in you destroys sickness. It’s impossible for malaria to survive in your body!”

Eva frowned. “But mosquitoes carry parasites. That’s just science.”
“And the life of God in you is a greater reality!” Renata countered. “Stop expecting sickness; declare divinity instead!”

Did you know that now that you’re born again, you’re immune to sickness and poison? No infection can thrive in your body because the life of God within you neutralizes every harmful thing.

Paul proved this in Acts 28:5 when he was bitten by a deadly viper. The people expected him to swell, fall down suddenly and die as a result of the venom from the snake, but the Bible says Paul shook off the viper into the fire and felt no harm. That same divine life is in you!

It doesn’t matter how or what venom gets into your body, it’ll have no effect on you. That’s what the Lord Jesus meant when He said, “…if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them” (Mark 16:18).

The Greek word for drink (pinō) means to absorb, ingest, or assimilate. This means that even if harmful substances enter your body in any way, they cannot affect you.

Some may say, “I got sick because I was exposed to germs,” but that’s not your reality! The life in you destroys parasites and disease-causing agents.

Live every day with the consciousness that you’re immune—completely uninfectable. Glory to God! Hallelujah!
