Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional October 31st – Fill Up On The Word

(Have A Rich Deposit Of The Word)

TO THE BIBLE: Colossians 3:16
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

LET’S TALK
Some Christians are too shy to preach the Gospel either because they don’t know what to say or they fear the embarrassment of being confronted with questions arising from the Word that they may not have answers to.

No excuse, however, is good enough to exonerate a Christian from obeying the Master’s great commission for us to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth (Mark 16:15).

This is, however, one of the reasons it’s important to study and know the Word of God as our opening scripture instructs.

As Christians, we have a responsibility to preach the Gospel, and to do this convincingly, in a world full of doubts and sense-knowledge, we ought to do so with boldness, authority and power of the Spirit, and God’s Word is our authority and power.

So you need to diligently equip yourself with the Word before you venture out to preach.

I learned early in church to take notes and write down Bible references while listening to the Pastor or whoever shared the Word.

This helped me a great deal in acquiring a rich knowledge of God’s Word and made me more effective in winning souls into the Kingdom.

This is an excellent way to equip yourself with God’s Word; it worked for me, and I believe it will work for you too.

We have many teaching materials on the Pastor Chris Digital Library (PCDL) app to help you grow in the things of God, so get on the app (https://pcdl.co) and avail yourself the opportunity of learning God’s Word through them.

Remember the Bible says: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…” (Colossians 3:16).

When your spirit is inundated with the Word, you’ll be bold with the Gospel, and as the Word says, you’ll “…be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).
